2 December 2011: Imran Zawwar, a recent intern research officer with EconSearch, presented a paper on the basic method and introduction to the RISE model to policy makers, consultants, researchers, managers and students with interests in regional economics at Carnegie Mellon University, Adelaide.
December 2011: Julian Morison along with Tor Hundloe, Kate Brooks and Andrew Sullivan co-authored a book titled Fishing for Sustainability, will your grandchildren have the option to eat seafood. The book, published by Bond University Press, illustrates how the integration of ecology, economics and sociology can assist commercial fishers and their government managers in preserving the seafood industry.
23 November 2011: Julian Morison presented a paper titled A Practical Guide to Using the RISE Model for Economic Impact Analysis in the Murray Mallee LGA Region to the South Australian Regional Organisation of Councils held in Adelaide.
July 2010: EconSearch in partnership with the Australian Institute for Social Research and Dr Hugh Kirkman and his environmental team, have been contracted by DENR - Coast and Marine to undertake a cost-benefit analysis on a state-wide basis and prepare an impact statement for each of the 19 parks proposed for South Australian state waters.
