Summary: The objective of the Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) Framework for the Greater Adelaide Region is to stabilise and improve the health of the region’s coastal waters, watercourses and groundwater systems whilst providing for future growth and human well being. Detailed in this report was the effect that the proposed WSUD Framework would have on the development industry, the community and Local and State Government. Three case studies were prepared to highlight the potential benefits associated with selected WSUD measures compared to conventional methods.
