Project: Investigation of potential market based instruments to minimise the effect of stormwater on Adelaide’s coastal water quality (2009)

Client: Environment Protection Authority

Collaborators: BDA Group

Summary: The potential market based instruments to minimise the effect of stormwater on Adelaide’s coastal water were investigated. The key pollutants important to managing the impact of stormwater on coastal waters are suspended solids and coloured dissolved organic matter. While the primary purpose of the market based instruments is to improve water quality, the interactions between water quality and quantity were considered.
