Project: Financial Analysis of the Mannum Pump Station Project (2007)

Summary: The Mannum Pump Station provides water to in excess of 500,000 metropolitan customers through the Mannum to Adelaide Pipeline (MAPL) system. The drought conditions and low inflows into the Murray-Darling catchments were predicted to result in falls in the river level below Lock 1. The objective of the Mannum low lift pump station project was to ensure the security of water supply to in excess of 500,000 customers through the MAPL. EconSearch was commissioned by SA Water to conduct a financial analysis of the Mannum low lift pump station to determine the net financial benefit of the project for SA Water.
