Project: Economic Profile of the River Murray Region of South Australia (2009)
Client: Corporate Strategy and Policy, Primary Industries and Resources South Australia
Summary: The objective of the analysis was to update an economic profile of the South Australian River Murray region and its three component regions (i.e. Lower Lakes, Mid Murray and Riverland) for 2006/07, using the recently constructed regional input-output models for SA. Indicators presented in the analysis include:
- employment by industry;
- value of output by industry;
- contribution to GRP by industry; and
- GRP, GSP and GDP per capita and per household.
