Summary: In response to challenges to the timber industry in the South East region of South Australia that were being experienced under the proposed Lower Limestone Coast Water Allocation Plan Provided EconSearch provided the following. Indicators of the contribution of the timber industry to regional economic activity in South East South Australia in 2006/07 and estimates of the economic impact of a range of future scenarios for the timber industry that may result from the implementation of the Lower Limestone Coast Water Allocation Plan.
