Project: Economic Impacts of Landuse Changes in the Mount Lofty Ranges Watershed (2004)

Client: SA Water

Collaborator: Scholefield Robinson Horticultural Services

Summary: The introduction of differential development controls to reflect higher water quality risks in some areas of the Mount Lofty Ranges Watershed was proposed. A set of scenarios was developed for likely changes in land use over a medium term horizon for all high-risk (to water quality) primary industry sectors in the Mount Lofty Ranges Watershed region. Qualitative and quantitative impacts of the land use change scenarios on primary industry GVP were assessed.
