Summary: The Department of Water, Land and Biodiversity Conservation were preparing a regulatory impact report to accompany the Cabinet submission to prescribe, by regulation, the water resources of the Western Mount Lofty Ranges Water Resources Management Area. As such, EconSearch and Scholefield Robinson Horticultural Services were commissioned to prepare a qualitative and, where appropriate, quantitative assessment of the positive and negative impacts of the proposed prescription process on businesses, particularly small businesses, in the WMLR region.
